Clear Aligners & Retainers Post-Op Instructions

Aligner & Retainer Care:

  1. Cleaning: Brush aligners/retainers daily with a soft brush and cool water.
    1. Deep Cleaning: An ultrasonic cleaner is a cost-effective investment for long-term retainer maintenance.
    2. Avoid Hot Water: Never use hot water as it can easily warp or damage your aligners or retainers.
  2. Eating: Remove them before eating or drinking anything but water.
  3. Storage: Store in their protective case when not in use.
  4. Wearing: Adhere to the recommended wear time, usually 20-22 hours daily.
